The mainstream media is so self-satirizing that it makes it hard for a satirical website to distinguish itself as not actually a news site.

The background is that the New York Times ran an accurate headline reflecting the substance of President Trump's speech about the shootings in Toldeo and El Paso.

Accurate reporting was so triggering that between the first and second print run, the NYTs changed the neutral and accurate headline to a partisan headline more acceptable to its readers.
