Andritsaina by Hilary Pym

Andritsaina
by Hilary Pym

The mountains have the luck, they don't grow old,
In summer green, in winter capped with snow
They wait for spring, for summer's beauty,
For shoots to burst, for leaves to open
For herdsmen and shepherds to come to the mountains
And shepherd girls with singing pipes.
