Identity Politics: Guilt and the Scapegoat

Oh, thank goodness.  Something from my alma mater about which to be proud.  Georgetown has, despite its rigorous Jesuit heritage, been subject in recent years to the whims and foolishness of Wokeness.  Not as bad as many institutions but embarrassing none-the-less.  

The following video Identity Politics: Guilt and the Scapegoat by Dr. Joshua Mitchell from the Woodson Center at Georgetown is full of insight, knowledge and perception.  Well worth watching.

It doesn't have all the answers but I think he is on the right trail.  I especially like his discussion about expatiation of guilt.
