This sculpture of a wolf head probably featured on a Roman barge. Similar ones were found on the pleasure barges built for Caligula, discovered at Lake Nemi. Made of bronze it was likely used to cap a beam end & dates to the 1st Century AD - now part of @ClevelandArt collection. pic.twitter.com/T0uD2tms5e
