The American Creed: People must be judged as individuals, not as group signifiers or as statistical averages.

Saw this observation, rephrasing from memory.  

America is founded on an aspirational American Creed: People are not to be judged by where they came from, what social class they come from, or by race, color, or creed. They must be judged as individuals. 

The prevailing Progressive ideology repudiates that ideal, demanding instead that the state should judge people by their race, social origins, religion, sex, and sexual orientation.

We will revert to the Age of Enlightenment aspiration, but a lot of damage will be done by Progressive anti-sciencetism, sexism, racism, classism, and anti-religious bigotry before then.
