It is really hard to understand how they do not see and understand themselves to be fascists - government and corporations colluding together to constrain citizen's natural rights, particularly the First Amendment right of free speech. Whether Facebook and other tech giants are actively and voluntarily colluding or are being frightened into functioning as an agent of the government is not much of a distinction in terms of the outcome.
