Of all the misunderstandings between the Mandarin Class with their Critical Theory and Social Justice Theory policies and all other classes, this is one of the most persistent.  The Mandarin Class has a mental model of their career regardless for whom they work.  They want to progress in power, prestige and money.  

Most everyone else have jobs that sustain them.  They want a job, not necessarily a career.
