Staggeringly, the grass is even more desiccated on the other side.

We think we have it bad here in the US where there is a sharp polarization between the Mandarin Class of both parties and the commonweal, but we have to maintain some perspective.

Poor old Britain has it even worse. Nobody wants the position of party leader and of the two party leaders, Teressa May is reviled for sustained ineffectiveness while the Labour Party leader is an old style Marxist who also happens to be a blatant anti-semite.

Bad as we might consider our own choices, almost any combination of our relatively bad crop of politicians is not near as bad as the choice facing Britons.
