Through a glass darkly

It will be very interesting, four years from now, to compare these forecasts from prominent public intellectuals against the reality as it will then be.  

In 2016 there was a similar outpouring of emotion and ideological driven forecasts which were far from the reality of the first Trump Administration (2016-2020).  The reality was far better than the forecasts. 

As will be the case I suspect this time around.
