This great paper shows two insights about team conflict:
— Ethan Mollick (@emollick) February 10, 2021
1) When one or two people on the team disagree with team direction, it ups performance since dissent pushes the team
2) Most team conflict doesn’t spread. 75% of the time conflict either shrinks or stays with the same folks pic.twitter.com/Ky3H5Rj5Wc
But everything in moderation. 1-2 dissenters improve rigor of consensus decision. 100% dissenters, not so much.
