This striking portrait bust of a #Roman girl is in the @britishmuseum collection. She sat for this portrait around 200-220AD & we know she had red hair as some of the pigment on the statue has survived. Her hair is divided into plaits, twisted into a knot on the back of the head pic.twitter.com/aAvW7lr5AP
