A lot of nuance and variance

Perhaps the best heterogenous collection of comments and interpretations on what is happening in Afghanistan is in response to this post by Ann Althouse, "In the blue haze of hookah smoke that filled Kandahar’s Cafe Delight on a recent weekend afternoon, it was easy to forget there’s a war outside."  Her readers tend to be center to center right but they do span the entire spectrum and there is a lot of nuance, originality, insight and variation in the comments.
