Data Talks

"The media doesn’t want you to know this but..." degrades the point which is well made.  Virtually all sociological measures of well-being in the US and worldwide are dramatically better than decade or a century ago.

Maybe the MSM is trying to keep that information from us but my explanation is that 1) their business model has evolved away from reporting news towards a model dependent on press-release journalism where advocacy groups print something and the MSM simply repackages it and 2) Panic Porn sells.  No catastrophe, no readers.
