Crossing frontiers of style and triaining

One of my areas of profound ignorance is music. I enjoy listening. I know something of the history. But in terms of technique, skills, even the language of music - pretty much a wasteland.

This is an entertaining video. A classically trained flautist listening to and watching Ian Anderson in a Jethro Tull performance in 1976.
