I saw this New York Times piece yesterday. It is very clearly propaganda with loaded framing and phrasing. Whether Ray Epps is or is not an FBI mole remains unclear. But that he has been treated differently from others at the January 6th, 2020 protests is reasonably incontestable. Alan Feuer, for unknown reasons, certainly seems to be working hard to recast Epps as a victim rather than the provocateur so visible in the many videos easily findable online. Including videos from the New York Times.
When I saw the piece yesterday, I went over to see if it was factual reporting or not. Not. I also took a look at the comments. In this case it would seem most readers believe Epps to be a conservative and therefore definitely not entitled to victimhood.
I hadn't thought to check Twitter to see if the piece had been exposed beyond the hothouse of NYT readers. My goodness, it was exposed.

Twitchy of course has the story.
But my goodness, the ratio. Even on a Woke friendly platform like Twitter. 6,000 replies versus 800 likes. Tells you that there is way more to the story than the NYT is reporting. It will be interesting when it finally comes out. Might go one way or maybe the other but at least we'll get an answer versus the studied non-answers now.
