A good round up of some of the mainstream media forest fire nonsense in the past couple or three months. This came out as the generic "Catastrophe! The Rainforest is Burning Down" reporting perhaps a month ago. It all turns out to be misreporting. Fires by number and acreage are down. Reforestation is up. 70% of the fires are in Africa. I have seen enough of the independently sourced refutations to believe that they are likely accurate.
