I frequently comment on the innumeracy of journalists, but this is kind of ridiculous.

Turns out that the fifth person in the picture is the reporter, in the center, Paula L. Woods.  So, to be generous, more of an issue of bad editing rather than bad journalism.

It is almost impossible to not observe this insignificance as a tea leaf evidence of the change in national mood.  2010-2024 it would have been almost impossible to recommend four authors of anything, have them all be men, and not have outraged comments and editorials in response.
