Some books can be summarized in a single post, others are so chockfull of insight and information that they require many posts. One such is Factfulness by the lamentably late Hans Rosling. A medical doctor, an academician, a humanist in the finest tradition. His conviction was that the better we understand the world as it really is, the more likely people are to find ways improve their own lives.
The full title of his book, written with his son and daughter was Factfulness: Ten Reasons We're Wrong About the World – and Why Things Are Better Than You Think. Excerpts to follow.
