Compared to Red States, Blue states are worse at affordable housing, fair taxation, and income inequality

For Classical Liberals (i.e. conservatives in our modern parlance), there is a deep frustration about post-modernist progressives subscribing to critical race theory, social justice theory, feminist theory, etc.

That frustration is the aversion of progressives to facts.  No matter what they say they want, Classical Liberals look at the actions of radicals and see deep hatred and extensive negative impacts on the poor, arising from the reluctance of progressives to live by their own rules.

Classical Liberals are irritated because radicals are self-serving, completely ignorant of evidence and coercive/authoritarian.  Classical Liberals look at the evidence of what progressives do and reach a conclusion different from that of progressives who measure themselves based on emotional intensity, not on actual results.  It is a classic example of Revealed Preference Theory.

Incidentally, it is also the basis of one of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals.  "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules."

In the New York Times of all places, there is video covering the Revealed Preferences of Blue state governments.
