Free mongrel Classical Liberalism trumps pure race and pure controlling ideology

378,000 German Prisoners of War were located to the United States during the war, many of whom worked on farms.  In many parts of the country, they found a large portion of the population were of German heritage and still spoke some German.

The Prisoners of War were sent back to Germany at the close of the war but some 20% returned to become American citizens.
