Diversity is our strength except where it comes to different opinions

I always argue that most of America's issues are class-based rather than race (or other identity) based.  I also often argue that the educationally credentialed chattering class (which has strong authoritarian tendencies in both parties) are both unrepresentative and exclusionary of most Americans, regarding the others as either ignorant or lower class or both.  The 5-10% educationally credentialed chattering class not only don't acknowledge the interests and concerns of the 90-95%, but they despise them for daring to question the conclusions of the educationally credentialed chattering class.

This video so patly makes the point that I almost have to wonder whether it is fake.  But if real, we certainly have everything on display.  An American citizen of apparently humble financial condition and without obvious educational credentials, makes an articulate argument against the imposed and draconian public health policies being advocated by the two public health leaders (including Fauci).  All the points he raises (suspicious speed of vaccine development, lack of testing, dubious measurement mechanisms, improbable mortality claims, etc.) have all been borne out over the three years.

The educationally credentialed chattering class public health overlords do listen to his argument but dismiss his argument and dismiss him.

He had the better argument than they did.  I wouldn't go to him for medical services (and he does not claim to be a medical expert) but he does have the better argument which the educationally credentialed chattering class public health overlords cannot effectively refute.  Which is why they dismiss the argument even though it was the better argument.

Fascinating example of diverse and informed discussion and decision making in a democracy with consent of the governed.

UPDATE:  Turns out that this video clip is real.  Fauci is being accompanied by the Mayor of Washington, D.C. and the video is part of a documentary.
