Gold body-chain from Roman Britain c. AD400. This fabulous object is part of the Hoxne Hoard from Suffolk. Jewelled mount set with amethyst and garnets. Clasp set with a gold solidus coin of Gratian (AD 367-83). The chain terminals are decorated with lion heads.#Archaeology pic.twitter.com/Xj8n0mPnqA
