Humorous, yes.  But there is a fundamental insight here as well.

Dozens of times a day "leaders" in the Mandarin Class, with no self-awareness, casually insult large classes of citizens based on race, religion, income, class, geography, etc.  The Mandarin Class speaker thinks they are explaining when all they are doing is opening a door into their embedded ignorance, prejudices and animosities.

This is a wonderful piece of simple performance art which captures the whole interplay of the listening citizen and the speaking Mandarin Class.
