Pre-news

It is a very strange time when the mainstream media cannot bring itself to report actual news (all the DOJ releases of the FBI/CIA/Obama Administration election year crimes), insists on purveying known untruths (Tump won't denounce racism, riots are mostly peaceful, etc.), and seemingly intentionally generates cognitive pollution by the ton.

Making it stranger yet is when you keep getting more and more straight news from satire sites such as Babylon Bee.  

And now, in yet a further twist, you get the Babylon Bee entering the newly emerging field of reporting factual information before it has occurred.  It is the media equivalent of Philip K. Dick's idea of pre-crime - pre-news.
