2020 is messing with us

In this year we have Mississippi finally stripping out the Confederate flag from its state flag. A step towards acknowledging the equality of all citizens.

But at the same time we have this from our regressing Californian fellow citizens.

So 2020 is the year when the last state of the Confederacy removed one of the last symbols of 'separate but equal' just as the first state moves to enshrine state discrimination. What the heck 2020? Could you just please stop?
