Doesn't sound like Kant so I check. Indeed, as it turns out, it is supposedly a paraphrase of Kant attributed to Ayn Rand. One of those Chinese Whispers games.
Regardless, as emotional fragility is weaponized to the degree that some people claim harm from the truth, it feels like Kant, Rand, or someone should have at some point made this declaration.
