His aversion to freedom and human rights is chilling.

But perhaps more striking is his ignorance.   

If you a danger to yourself and others, you must remain at home.

Presumes a fact not in evidence.  He is speaking of Covid-19.  The vaccinated or the unvaccinated are not a material danger to themselves or others compared to one another.  In many of the most vaccinated countries, the seasonal spike in cases and deaths are almost entirely driven by the most vaccinated.

 

This is a former Secretary of Education not knowing a basic fact which is well evidenced.  The fact that he is propagating a mistaken sentiment in furtherance of a totalitarian abridgment of human rights is additional cause for concern.
