Epidemic events rise and fall in a roughly symmetrical pattern

Back in July, I posted about Farr's Law which states that:

Epidemic events rise and fall in a roughly symmetrical pattern. The time-evolution behavior could be captured by a single mathematical formula that could be approximated by a bell-shaped curve.

Seems, with all the reports coming in of Omicron, i.e. high contagion and low virulence (in fact, at this point no identified Omicron deaths), that Farr's Law will be vindicated once again.  And will serve as an indictment of public health authorities around the world who have so studiously ignored the law and its implications.
