A pretty good imitation of someone who was profoundly stoned

Legal Insurrection's Andrew Braca is doing a day-by-day account of the Kyle Rittenburger trial.  Today, he commented, 

Also questioned were the adult sons of the owners of the Car Source properties, Sal & Sam Khindri.  They both came across as rather confused, and Sam in particular struck me as doing a pretty good imitation of someone who was profoundly stoned.

 

And looking at the video in the linked account, it is indeed a pretty good imitation.

Lawyer: Do you recall Jim and John coming by on the 24th? 

 

Sam:  What day was that? 

 

Lawyer:  The 24th? 

 

Sam:  No, what day of the week? 

 

Lawyer:  Monday. 

 

Sam:  Can you ask the question again?
