Matt Parker in Why Do People Keep Getting This Wrong? It is very close to my beef that journalists seem, as a class, to be functionally innumerate and therefore very bad at reporting anything quantifiable. I am not sure I buy Mr. Parker's explanation for why one type of error keeps happening but it is at least plausible.
