An undeserved review or perhaps an inevitable one.

In desperate pursuit of status, Jill Biden's insistence on being addressed as Dr. given her Ed.D degree has, in Streisand Effect style, brought attention to the the nature of the Ed.D.  And now, attention to her Ed.D thesis.

So far in the review, it is not so much that the dissertation is truly bad, it is that it is very insubstantial and mediocre.  Something a bright prep school senior might have written.  

The whole dispute is a ridiculous mountain out of a mole hill, but this kind of review is not what Dr. Biden was seeking.  It reinforces the low regard academia has for Ed.D and extends that low regard to the masses who didn't care in the first place.
