Feinberg was the defendant in a bigamy action. The prosecutor had brought into evidence that the accused man actually married four women, so it was little wonder that he was in a cold sweat when the foreman of the jury stood up to deliver the verdict: "We, the jury, find the defendant—not guilty!"
The judge peered down over his spectacles at Feinberg. You are a free man," he said. "Go home to your wife."
"Thank you, your honor!" shouted the surprised and delighted Feinberg. "But tell me, which one?"
