Last night (Tuesday March 9th), I had a 6pm update from the New York Times on the anticipated results from the Israeli elections. The NYT has been an ardent foe of the incumbent Netanyahu, whether because Netanyahu and Trump are close allies, because Netanyahu is a strong proponent of western ideals in a region still hostile to those ideals, or for some other reason is not clear to me.
Here was the update.

Twelve hours late as a I rise at 6pm, here is the current headline.

Perhaps the final result will be different in a couple of days, but it sure feels like the New York Times is running true to form, reporting what they wish were true (last night's breaking news that the elections were a setback for Netanyahu) versus the reality that he has won a remarkable fourth consecutive election (and five overall).
I guess the positive spin is that their biased reporting is not isolated to just the US.
