Our brain fits the circumstances under which it evolved.

A conundrum with which I have long wrestled - what is the nature of our possible limits of understanding? Wrestled, and then put away in a corner as too hard to deal with.

The human brain evolved to make sense of things it needed to deal with in ways which facilitated dealing with them. It is plausible that it may not be equipped to understand some realities of the universe which fall outside that.
