You could spend a lot of time picking at individual points but I think this is broadly correct. The only cell I would dispute is that the Modernist view of human nature is "Tabula rasa and autonomy." True up to a point. Tabula rasa was certainly the starting point but science has driven the modernist to a greater recognition and acknowledgement of the proto-determinism of genes. The recognition that humans are not a blank slate but come with biological and behavioral dispositions that can be developed or controlled.
